My Name is Kim!
I’m a mom of two, personal assistant to three cats, and a woman who can absolutely justify buying more craft supplies I don’t need. I split my time between sewing things, reading things, thinking about sewing things, and adding books to my TBR like its a competitive sport.
Pages & Projects is my cozy corner of the internet where I document what I’m making and what I’m reading. From slightly wonky first attempts to “wait…I actually made this” moments, I love watching my skills grow over time. There’s something deeply satisfying about turning flat fabric into a bag, or finishing a book that makes book club spiral into a two-hour debate.
Creativity has become more than a hobby for me. It’s therapy with prettier supplies. I’ve had my share of mental health struggles, the overwhelm, the self-doubt, the days where everything feels louder than it should. Crafting and reading give my mind somewhere safe to land.
This space isn’t about perfection. It’s about progress. It’s about building a life filled with pages and projects, even if the house is messy and the cats are sitting directly on the fabric I’m trying to cut.
I’m so glad you’re here!

My Creative History…
Long before Pages & Projects, I was the girl updating blogs about lifestyle, books, beauty, and mom life. I’ve always loved having a little corner of the internet to document what I’m learning and loving. Even when life got busy and seasons shifted, that pull toward creating and sharing never really left.
I’ve been a crafty girl for as long as I can remember. If you needed a lanyard at summer camp, I was your girl. If there were beads, string, or a DIY kit involved, I was already three steps ahead and probably covered in glitter.
For three years, I ran an Etsy Shop, RosyRyleigh, where I turned creativity and a love of books into something tangible and shippable. It taught me so much about consistency, courage, and what it really means to build something form scratch. I’m currently on a little pause before reopening. but that marker heart is still very much beating.
Reading has always been my steady escape. Books were my first creative love, the place I went when I needed to step outside reality and breathe. To this day, a good story can reset my entire mood.
Pages & Projects is simply the next chapter in a lifelong creative journey. And I have a feeling the best projects are still ahead..
